I was kind of in the same boat. I had a DA account for a whole year before I uploaded the 30+ comics I had at the time. Until then I had posted a bare few scraps (which I still consider to be my funniest hidden treasures very few people bother to dig up), and perhaps about 100 views. When I started back up, another user took me under her wing and I gained watchers. Since then, I've been enjoying every second of answering comments and parrying jokes.

With the caliber of art you have, however, there's a big chance your popularity will explode here in short time. When that happens, try not to change. When you find a little guy among the masses with a gallery that blows you away, be sure to let others know lest it be swallowed up by all the thousands of deviations uploaded each day.

I'll be keeping an eye on your work.

I just wanted to point out that in your journal entry, you forgot to mention how half the episode is comprised of the good guy and the bad guy narrating their every thought. I believe this is why one battle takes half a f@#$ing season to conclude
